Pricing Options
Boomerang pricing is simple...
- There are 6 basic tool types – Text, Newsbox, Events, Audio, Video and Photos.
- There are 4 plans, each based on the number of tools needed.
- Each plan has a one-time setup fee ($30 per tool) and a small monthly payment (except the Free plan, which is quite simply…free).
- The plans are completely flexible. No long-term commitment…upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan at any time.
Follow these steps to determine which tools are right for you before choosing your plan:
Step 1 – Which tools do I need?
What types of content do you want to be able to control with Boomerang? There are 6 basic tool types...
- Basic Text
- News
- Events
- Audio
- Video
- Photos
Step 2 – How many of each tool do I need?
In Boomerang, a tool is defined by a single set of content. The easiest way to determine how many tools you’ll need is by looking at the individual pages on your website, including sub-pages.
For example, let’s say your site has 5 major content sections, and 2 sub-sections:
- Home
- About
- Bio (sub-section)
- Resume (sub-section)
- Audio
- Links
- Contact
Any single set of text will need its own text tool. In this example, text will probably be updated for the Home, About, Links, and Contact pages, as well as the Bio and Resume sub-sections, resulting in 6 total text tools. Add an Audio Tool for the Audio page, bringing the total tool count to 7. The Plus plan provides up to 8 tools and would be a good match here.
In most cases, Audio, Video and Photos can each be handled with a single tool, unless a single type of media resides in 2 or more pages of your site.

A few important things to keep in mind:
- Boomerang tools are intended to work with your existing site content. You can’t create new content sections or pages with these tools.
- Boomerang may not apply to all of the content on your site. Custom-designed text and/or photos integrated with your site design cannot be updated with these tools. For example, the Photo Gallery tool is intended to be used for galleries only and will not control photos across the entire site. This is especially true for photos that are part of the design itself. If you have 2 or more sets of photos in different sections of your site that you want to control, you will need more than 1 Photo Gallery tool. The same applies for Audio, Video and Text tools.
